Jersey Shore - now MTV's most popular ever series - is a reality show following housemates JWoww, The Situation, Snooki, Pauly D, Ronnie, Sammi, Vinny, Angelina (seasons 1-2) and Deena (season 3+) as they spend their summers together. Season 1 was filmed at the Jersey Shore; Season 2 traveled to Miami Beach; Season 3 returned to Jersey and Season 4 will follow the cast to Italy.

MTV has confirmed the Jersey Shore Season 4 finale date, giving us a clue as to how many episodes we're likely to see this fall. The final episode of the show will air Thursday, October 27th, with a reunion special and possibly a never-before-seen clips show set to air in the following two weeks.

So, we've got 13 action packed episodes of the macaroni rascals' summer abroad in Florence, assuming MTV doesn't skip a week to air a rerun, or cram two episodes into one week to give a new show higher ratings (a la what they tried to pull with Skins last season, by airing a new episode of Jersey Shore before the series premiere... and, well, we saw how well that turned out).

Jersey Shore Season 5 is slated to premiere in early 2012, so, if it's following the same schedule as previous seasons, we're likely to see the premiere of Season 5 sometime in January.
